Bubbles and Celebrations

It is hard to believe that Christmas is upon us and the New Year is just around the corner. As I write my last post for 2007 I look back over the past year and feel very blessed to have lived the life I have.

I have had family and friends visit, and I've visited them while in Australia. For those that have made the trek to Hong Kong please know that I really do appreciate your visits. We know it's not a simple thing to just hop on a plane and fly 8-9 hours to a foreign city, and then fly all the way home. I have also made new friends from all around the world and have wonderful friendships here in Hong Kong.

This year has been a year of learning... learning about myself, learning about others, learning to let go and trust, and learning to accept the blessings in my life without questioning whether I deserve them or not. Who I am is enough and whatever opportunities come my way is because of who I am.

I've been given many opportunities to broaden my horizons and 2008 will see some of those opportunities come to fruition. I have also made a big dent in the opportunities that have presented themselves this year - publishing the journal, expanding my business, helping other less fortunate than myself and connecting with like minded souls.

I've discovered I enjoy writing, painting and being creative.

I've learnt this year that gratitude opens up more opportunities, that being a woman is a blessing and an honour, and that friends are here for a reason, a season or a lifetime. As we close one door another opens, it's just a matter of allowing things to come forward and bless my life.

Thank you to all my family and friends (new and old) for being in my life. I feel very blessed to have each and every one of you in my life.

As we move into 2008 I look forward to travelling some more with Nick, getting back into Ceroc Dancing now that it has hit the shores of Hong Kong, and continuing to have creativity in my life.

I also look forward to continuing to nurture my friendships... I know that time passes quickly and life gets busy, however without keeping in contact friendships drift apart and that person becomes someone you use to know instead of someone who you know.

I would like to raise my glass of bubbles to my family and friends. Merry Christmas! I hope that 2008 is all that you dream it to be and more.

With love and friendship, Nicole x.
