Nick is a Captain

WooHoo! I've been a bit slack in updating my blog. He passed and is on a probationary period of 6 months, which is standard.

He keeps saying "can you believe it... they've given me the keys".

And they've also given him holidays! Bad timing. He's heading to Melbourne on the 31st August and heads back home on the 10th or 11th. So we'll miss each other in transit as I head to Brisbane on the 4th or 5th depending on flight availability. It's looking more like the 3rd or 4th at this stage but I really don't want to go too early.

So... Nick is a Captain and he's doing a good job at it.
