Hoi An, South of Danang, Vietnam

Hoi An is one of Vietnam’s four World Heritage sites and it's lovely. We were a little surprised by the amount of tourists wandering around, however I can understand why they were visiting.

Hoi An is a charming old town that in it's haydays (between the 16th and 19th centuries) was an important international port. Traditional lifestyle and the Chinese archietect had remained unspoilt and no cars are allowed into the Old Town.



Once we had freshened up we wandered the old town admiring the traditional building and it's very lively markets.
